The Baltic Exchange Sailing Association Warwick Cup race will take place at Seaview, Isle of Wight, 14-15 May 2016.
The event is open to member companies or individuals of the Baltic Exchange and also overseas based shipping companies. It will be structured to provide an excellent opportunity for client engagement and corporate bonding.
There are no stipulations on who may helm each boat, however one race will be dedicated solely for helming by a non-entering company participant / client. After every race there will be an chance to rotate crews, so teams can be as large as you like (up to a maximum of 20) giving everyone a chance to have a go on the water. Also there will be opportunities for those not racing to witness the action close up on one of the yacht club ribs or just to go for a burn.
The tentative schedule is as follows:
- Friday PM – Bonding in the Old Fort Inn, Seaview (http://www.oldfortbarcafe.co.uk) (dinner there can be booked directly for those who can make it down that evening)
- Saturday – Racing Seaview Mermaids (http://www.sail-mermaids.com)
- Saturday PM – Three course dinner at the Sea View Yacht Club with late bar
- Sunday AM – AM Racing Seaview Mermaids then Lunch and Prize Giving away by 1400
