Baltic Chief Executive Jeremy Penn will be addressing the main conference at London International Shipping Week at the Grosvenor House Hotel on Thursday September 10. The conference is designed to bring together policy makers with shipping industry players and covers a variety of issues including the role of national governments in a global maritime industry; world trade and shipping over the next ten years; and new technology, energy sources and innovation for the shipping industry.
Other speakers include Greg Hands MP, Chief Secretary to the Treasury; the Lord Mayor of the City of London, Alderman Alan Yarrow; Paddy Rodgers, CEO, Euronav; Sabrina Chao, Chairman, Wah Kwong Maritime Transport Holdings; Koji Sekimizu, Secretary-General, International Maritime Organization and Tom Boardley, Marine Director, Lloyd’s Register. The day will be moderated by BBC news presenter Emily Maitlis and is followed by a gala dinner.
